I’m 25. I’m Hispanic. I am dark skinned, but not like dark dark like African American skin. I’ve found lots of information on fair skin or African American skin though… like people have one or the other errrg

I don’t ever wear makeup because I suck at putting it on and I just don’t know if its good to put such things on your face everyday… and right now my skin isn’t horrible but its getting progressively worse and i want to stop it before its crazy. Not even a year ago people used to tell me i have amazing skin and ask me how… i didn’t know what to tell them because all i did was rinse it in the shower, nothing else. now it seems to have a new problem everyday. I don’t get enough exercise but have been getting back in the routine. I probably don’t drink enough water, also trying to improve this.. but I think I might have been dehydrated for a long time. I think this was the result of a job I got where i had no time for anything and was exhausted all the time, but I am no longer working there and am able to give myself more attention.

My face from far away seem pretty normal but up close I have large pores all over my facee, some stubburn deep black heads on my nose, and what I suspect is milia.. tiny tiny flesh colored bumps mostly around my eye area. i have this on my neck and chest too.. and arms. if it isn’t milia it might be keratosis pilaris? or whatever its called. I’m really not sure. I also have a lot of acne scars on my chin and some on my cheek from when i was dumb and picked and some that just happen even though I didn’t pick. I have dark circles and I am seeing a few lines on my forehead

So here are some options I was considering, I don’t want to put all this crap on my face and don’t think it would be good to anyways.. also I am on a budget so if anyone could suggest a few that they think might work for my skin or who has similar skin and what worked for them and specific brands.. doesn’t have to be on the list.. just putting what I’ve read about..

- checmical peels – not too sure about this.. "chemical" scares me but from what I read, if done correctly that offer a lot of benefits.. i was thinking a lactic acid,glycolic acid or vitamin c peel . that TCA one sounds scary D:

- microdermabrasion kit

- alpha hydroxy lotion

- vitamin c cream

- rose water – i think this is the only one i am going to get regardless of what answers i get.. which brand do you recommend?

- retinol cream

They have wide arrays of product that helps. Really made my face and complexion AMAZING and so much better, even much better than the obagi peels I had before.
