I am 22 and never had bad skin but i always had whiteheads and usually have one or two pimples. By the time I get rid of them another one pops up. Are there any good products that help reduce acne? I go to a dermatologist and haven’t had much luck there. Please let me know what type of skin you have and how the product worked for you, thanks!
Well I have oily skin and I started using the clinique 3step for oily skin, which is "3 step system 4". In the first 2 weeks I broke out a little more but that is part of the process. Because the system is meant to go deep in the skin and bring out the impurites; and the impurities come out as pimples. But with constant use of the system they lessen and I noticed my change at the end of the 3 week. And from then on my skin is more matte and clear.

Another one is the neutrogena’s acne line, my friend loves this one and I must say it really works for her. I tried it out october last year and it did work for me for a while (around april)…. Actually I don’t know why it stopped working …. but I still like the wash/mask and the oil free face moisturizer.
Well, I hope this helps you helps you a little.

I have this soap by Herbal Authority it’s a tea tree oil soap. The tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic and it kills the bacteria in your spots. It also contains cocoa butter which is a moisturizer.
I had bad acne and this has cleared up most of it!
Amazing.

Here is what I do when I get pimples –
Morning – Make a paste with baking soda and water. It should be a little thinner then a paste. Wash face with it.
Night –
Wash face with face soap
Make a face mask and put it on (recipe that I love is below) leave it for 15-20 minutes (I would bring a book into the bathroom with you for this part)
Gently rinse mask off and put a moisturizer on your face
Change your pillow case every other day and take a shower every day.
Recipe I use –
In a cup or small bowl mix – one table spoon of olive oil,,2 tablespoons vinegar (apple cider vinegar works the best but plain is fine)
in a bowl mix – oatmeal (eye it, the smaller the pieces the better, you could also grind the oatmeal), baking soda (1 tablespoon), 1 table spoon salt, 1 tablespoon sugar.
mix together liquid and dry. You can add more of any ingredient to make it the right thickness.
Good luck!

It’s strange that a dermatologist couldn’t help you. Did you not get any pills?
Anyways pills aren’t the best solution anyway.
I have mixed skin and this is my routine:
- twice a week: steaming skin above a bowl of hot water
- twice a week: tea tree scrub (go to drugstore, they usualy have a tea tree line)
- once a week: tea tree wash gel
- mornings: only a tonic with a cotton pad using rose water (see drug store, it’s cheap and amazingly soft and smells of roses)
- evenings: take all make up off and cleanse with rose water tonic
- for pimples: once a week go to bed with a strong (perscription) balm such as AcnePlus. This makes pimples really dry and works anti-septic= kills bacteria and infected skin
