I am 18 and have VERY dry, VERY sensitive skin esp. on my face which gets easily irritated and tight when I wash my face. I have been looking for a new face skin care regimen to help me with this problem I have alot of dead skin on my face and I can tell because its dull, when I frown I get little fine lines on my forward(which I believe is caused by dry skin cause i got a facial at a spa once and it disappeared), my face is ashy, and a bit flaky. I want to have bright, smooth, soft, healthy looking and feeling skin. I have been looking into a few products and I was wondering if getting these would help. I am on a budget and can’t afford any high end products as of yet to keep up with.

I wanted to get St. Ives facial warming scrub or other St. Ives face scrub, Cetephil facial cleanser, neutragene face toner and cetaphil moisturizing face lotion. Is this a good skin care regimen? If not, what is good or bad in this regimin? I will be using them in that exact order. I have used cetaphil before years in the past as a sample and that thing did wonders for my face. So I’m giving it an official try.
Also I don’t have acne prone skin. though that might help. I never had a skin care regimin before either.

If that doesnt work u could try face packs (Montagne Jeunesse) twice a week they r good and leave ur face feeling smooth and soft only takes between 5-15 mins depends which one u get and only about 99p from boots or superdrug.

I’ve been experiencing dry skin patches between my lips and chin and just below the corners of my mouth. Also have dry skin patch on my nose between my eyes. Have tried moisturizers day and night and prescription ointments that only last temporarily. Have also tried changing brand of make up I use. Not getting any positive results. Have not seen a dermatologist yet either.

It could possibly be dermatitis or ezcema. This will require morturizers along with a prescribed steroid cream.

You can try the Vasiline brand. Over time it really does make yoru skin feel nice.

I just recently had a baby and got some stretch marks from being pumped with fluid. I was wondering what the best skin firming lotion is and if there is anything that will help fade the stretch marks faster.

cocoa butter and vitamin E are great for that. make sure you put it on at least 2 times a day. and what i find useful is if you mix 3 parts cocoa butter lotion with 1 part baby oil. it softens skin and will lighten and smoothen your stretch marks

I have acne, so I got the acne bar they make. I was just wondering if anyone else uses this or has tried it?? What were your results??

I have been dealing with acne since I was 11. I am now 14, and it continues to get worse, spreading to my back, shoulders, and chest. I get whiteheads, I have terrible blackheads on my nose and cheeks. It looks like a strawberry! They are everywhere! Its gross. I get these huge whitehead zits on my cheeks and chin. I also have oily skin.
Though, neither of my parents have the money for me to visit a dermatologist. So I need a skin care system to be under $50.

You don’t have to go to a dermatologist, your regular Dr can prescribe you some different medications as well. Usually people only go to a dermatologist if they’re normal Dr can’t help them. You could even try calling around and see if there is a dermatologist that only charges $50. I went to a very fancy one a while back, and after I lost my insurance they only charged me $55 since I was paying cash upfront (saves them the hassle of billing and waiting for payment from the insurance companies, hence the steep discount).

Or you could try Philosophy brand, they have a system that I really like, it’s $65 but it’s huge so it should last 3 months at the very least. It also doesn’t contain benzyol peroxide so it’s not drying at all but still works very well.

i used to use dermatologist prescribed skin creams and washes, but ive been using CLEAN AND CLEAR lately.

my skin is normal to oily. and i was wondering if anyone knew of anything that really helps with oily skin and blackheads.

i really dont have bad acne, i just want the shine gone.

morning
-neutrogena deep clean invigorating ultra-foam cleanser
-biore triple action astringent
-garnier nutrisioniste daily moisture lotion

evening
-garnier nutrisioniste detoxifying gel cleanser
-biore triple action astringent
-neutrogena 3-in-1 hydrating acne treatment

these products together have totally transformed my skin. i totally recomend them!!!
