free hair care samples and etc. !?

posted by admin

does anyone know of where i can get free samples of hair care or skin care or make up? here are a few types: TIGI Bed Head, paul mitchell, john frieda, CHI, and skin care items like Proactive™ Thank you if you can answer this question lol i would REALLY appreciate it !!!

If you like free samples you should check out

http://www.sampleaday.com . They have a lot of skincare products on there

It provides a sample a day from companies and doesn’t make you get fill out a bunch of surveys. Just click the link to get redirected to the company that has the free samples. You can sign up to get the sample of the day delivered to your e-mail too (which is pretty nice), but it is not required.

The descriptions are pretty funny to read too

I’m 40 with Swedish, sensitive skin. I’m concerned about aging.

I’ve been using a skin care system (Pure Simplicity) from Bath & Body works for years but they discontinued it. Now I have the sample pack for Patricia Wexler’s daily skin care. I like it but it is rather expensive.
Any suggestions?

apply papaya pulp with pinch of salt and few drops of honey

I am 27 yrs old. I work at an automotive shop and live by the water, so there is a lot of humidity. I’m a single mom of 4 kids, so I have signs of not enough rest. My pores from my face are getting huge, I get a lot of white/blk heads, my dark circles are always there. I wanted to start getting facials, but I don’t know if that’s just a waste of my money, or should I just see a dermatologist. I don’t know which one is worth my hard earned money, and which one will work. I’m tired of these huge pores!!!! I’ve tried a couple of regular brands but nothing seems to work on my face….I want a smooth face again!!!! I am fair skinned and I just started tanning, and I know it’s unhealthy, but that’s why I don’t know which one to go with. The tanning also cause my pores to get huge.

I’m a medical esthetician in Florida and have battled with my own skin with Derms and Spa’s before being a part of the field. To be honest Derm’s majority of the time want to directly head for drastic and abrasive and or medication when it comes to a skin condition. If you go to a Spa, please go to a Licensed Medical Spa that a physician runs and or owns. (Just ask them when you call to make the Appt.) There you will have more options as far as regular maintenance facials, microderm tx and or chemical peels that will significantly make differences in pore size and texture of your skin. These treatments are also more affordable and less abrasive than doing something through a derm office. Also, if they are licensed under a physician you can ask about the OBAGI system. Which is excellent for sun damaged, chemically exposed or just clogged problematic skin. This system is an all around skin type miracle worker. It is somewhat of a process to go through because it takes a full 18 wks to go through the whole system….but absolutely worth it. I have seen dramatic results in every patient whose been on the system. It has retin A and hydriquinone in the system. Let me know how you progress. Good Luck

if anyone knows..i have like scarring and redness and cysts.
i keep trying the benzoyl peroxide and those three step things. like pro-active.
its mostly just on my cheeks. and it wont like ever go away.
should i go see a dermatologist and get a prescription or something?
or should i just kee trying the face wash more times a day?

definitely go to a dermatologist. he will probably prescribe you antibiotics and topicals. or accutane (a strong medicine for acne) if he thinks it’s severe. you will probably need a laser treatment for scars

proactiv is bullshit, do not waste your money on useless products.

PS- try pure aloe vera gel (from the plant) for the redness.

Whats the best skin firming lotion?

posted by admin

Price?
Where i can buy?
did you see results?

Personal stories would help

There is no such thing. It’s all hype and many women buy into it. There are facial products that will plump the skin, but it’s the alcohol in the product that temporarily plumps the skin.

Benefits of c+e serum?

posted by admin

My skin care therapist told me that everybody over 30 should use this vitamin c+e serum. The one they sell is by vivier. Has anyone tried it? How does vitamin c and / or e benefit your skin?

to apply vitamin c topically can be a bit confusing if you’re trying to read about it. Make sure it’s not yellowish or off color. When exposed to air, topical vitamin c can actually oxidizing causing a reverse effect which is damage to your skin.
However, it is supposed to be pretty good stuff.

Read this on vitamin c…trust me, it’s worth the read…

Here, read this.

I exercise 5 days a week, I don’t smoke, I drink 2 liters of water daily, I use sun block every day, and I take vitamins (C and E). Do you think it is worth it for my future years? Or will it be the same sh** and it’s always been crap I’ve believed?

Yes, it will make a difference. It already is, you just don’t see it visually yet. You have increased stamina, your body is utilizing it’s nutrition better, and your immune system is thanking you because it is running at full throttle. Don’t give up your good habits, it is must easier to maintain them than to stop and start up again. Great job on your lifestyle!
